Nothing is original

‘Nothing is Original’ is a passion project which illustrates a quote that I strongly resonate with when it comes to creativity. The quote, by Jim Jarmusch, claims that nothing is original as inspiration always comes from somewhere, and as long as that is somewhere which speaks directly to your soul, your work will always be valuably authentic. This video features my own archived video content of moments of inspiration from my own life and is sound-tracked with a song inspired by the world around us created by the ever talented mariele heystek. In an exploration of kinetic typography, text and visuals come together to illustrate inspiration, no matter what form that may take, all created with my own personal and specific brand aesthetic in mind.
